I have been lucky enough to watch little Riley grow during his first year of life. From his mamma's belly, to his 6 month photos, to his one year photos.. this little boy is full of sweetness and love. 

I love that Megan wanted to have these photos taken in a cotton field (which we were able to find one right outside the Huntsville, Alabama airport!) because it allowed Riley's growing sense of curiosity and independence to be captured on film. We all met up super early on a Saturday morning to catch that yummy morning light, and I LOVE how much of that pretty light we were able to get in these images. 

He is beginning to come into himself, and is learning how to do things on his own, like play in the mud, in the cotton.. and we even got a lot of laughs out of him! It was fun to watch him wave "hi" to all of the trucks and cars that passed by us on the road. Not only that, but when his mom put his birthday cake in front of him he did not hesitate to  stick his little face right in the center! .. something that amazed all of us since his personality is so timid and shy. 

I have had so much fun watching Riley grow during his first year of life, and am excited to see him blossom more into himself over the coming years!
