Tybee Island Engagement with Kristin and Peter

When Peter and Kristin booked me to shoot their wedding I didn't know them much at all, but was able to stalk Kristin through Instagram (where she found me!). I knew she was a beauty, and that he had flaming red hair.. but that's about it. When I met up with these two for their engagement session I was reminded why I love what I do. They love each other so much, and are two of the most compassionate, loving and sincere couples I've been able to work with. Both Kristin and Peter joined the military after their undergrad at Auburn University. Peter was deployed to Alaska, and Kristin joined him there for 6 months before her training started. They adventured together a ton in Alaska, and even secretly got married while they were there to ensure they could be stationed at the same base after their "official wedding" in October of 2016. Kristin is in helicopter flight school in Alabama, and Peter is stationed in Mississippi. Right now they are able to steal a few minutes every day away from their work to talk on the phone, and try to meet up somewhere every weekend. I'm so thankful they were able to come to Savannah for their engagement session and that I was able to see just how sincere their love for one another is. The thing I love most about this session (other than how good looking they are, and that amazing light on Tybee Island) is how much their love for one another shines through in the photos
