Emily and David's Daufuskie Island Christmas Wedding

Emily's family have been visiting Daufuskie Island since Emily was a little girl. Since then her parents have a vacation home on the island so the family gathers there throughout the year. David, of course, has visited the island since he has been with Emily and they both fell in love with the island together. 

It wasn't a hard decision when they decided to get married on Daufuskie, and I'm so happy they did. The island welcomed us with rain, but held off for the rest of the day while we took pictures and entered their sweet ceremony in a small church on Daufuskie. 

These two are back in Washington DC, living in their new home and traveling around to see family and friends. So thankful for these two, and am so glad to have experienced Daufuskie through their eyes.
