Let me introduce you to my cousin, Jason
I can’t say enough good things about this here human. I sure am glad my cousin Kirk found him years ago and has brought Jason’s love, light, joy and perspective into our family. He’s one of the best encouragers I know, and as you can see he’s also pretty damn good in front of the camera.
This year has been a year of beauty and deep trauma and healing work as I’ve navigated the ups and downs my physical body brings my way. In that space, I am so grateful to have been in Los Angeles with Kirk and Jason and the familiar comfort they bring to my heart. My eyes have been so wacky this year, I wasn’t able to find my rhythm behind the camera and really missed being able to shoot.
In true Jason fashion, he’s diving into another beautiful opportunity that Los Angeles brings and needed headshots to really get himself out there. We tried to hook up in LA, but circumstances changed on my end rather quickly and the headshots didn’t happen. BUT, over Thanksgiving our family went to Gulf Shores and it was the perfect cloudy day to get Jason in front of the camera. Look at this dude, obviously he was so fun to shoot, and helped to bring me and my creativity back to life. I cried after our shoot because it felt SO GOOD to be doing something I love again, to see tangible results, and to have fun while I was doing it. I’m just so grateful for the way the camera connects my heart with other beautiful human hearts, and for the light this man brings to the world.
