The Adkins Family

I can't tell you how much I loved spending the afternoon with the Adkins. I nannied for these kiddos earlier this year, so it was such a blessing to be surrounded by their fun and adventurous spirits again! I hand't really been able to spend time with the whole family together, and loved getting to see how much they all loved one another. It's so fun to go  back through the photos as I am post-processing and see the way different members of families bond with and love each other. Spending time with precious families always makes me more and more thankful for my own family, and the love and bond we have with one another. I know Noah, Kaley and Ashley are going to be the best of friends as they grow up, just like my sister and I.

We took these photos out on Rainbow mountain last Friday evening. I was hoping to catch some great evening light, but the sun keeps setting later these days, and the trees blocked all of the wonderful golden hughes that were coming through. Hopefully I'll be able to catch it soon, though! I think us photographers are in the business of chasing light.
